NASPA

ACT/AUGIE

Since 1999, NASPA has been representing the needs of its agent members not only with S.I.S., but with the entire insurance industry. Through its involvement in ACT (Agents Council for Technology) and AUGIE (ACORD-User Groups Information Exchange), NASPA has voiced the needs of the "average sized" agency. NASPA has been the leader on the Committee to get Regional Companies involved in the technology for Real Time to make it easier for our Users to do business with our smaller Companies. Visit the ACT and AUGIE sites to see the tools and resources available to make your agency more efficient.

About ACT

Established in January 1999, ACT (http://www.independentagent.com/act) is a part of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) and provides a candid, action-oriented forum to address the critical workflow and technology issues facing the Independent Agency System. ACT helps participants understand the perspectives of the other stakeholders in the process and provides excellent networking opportunities with the participants who are shaping the future for the industry on these issues.

About AUGIE

AUGIE - (http://www.acord.org/augie/augie.aspx) the ACORD-User Group Information Exchange - is a forum for ACORD, agents, brokers, insurers, solution providers, and associations to gather information, share ideas and actively shape the future of the insurance industry. It allows collaboration on common concerns that affect the day-to-day and long-term operations of agents and provides agents with a voice in the ACORD standards process with the goal of improving agency efficiency and productivity.

NASPA supports Real Time.

Do your carriers? Learn how you can help your agency be more efficient!

Real Time is the ability to click on a button from a client file in your agency management system or comparative rater for immediate access to carrier information on that client. The transaction may be a quote, billing inquiry, claim inquiry/loss runs, policy view, endorsements or a request for information. This approach provides a single workflow for servicing or quoting.
